🎵🎶 Festive mood at Oasen 🎵🎶
On Saturday 17 June 2023, Krarup Friluftsråd invited the public to the first open-air summer concert at Oasen. The highlight of the evening was the British singer, guitarist and entertainer Martin Dale, who was around the corner in the neighbouring village of Snarup. 🧑🎤 🎸
The Oasen nature area was atmospherically decorated with colourful fairy lights and tea lights in glass. A total of 59 new and familiar faces met in the cosy atmosphere. The physical well-being was tasty grilled sausages and chilled beer, wine and lemonade. The cool drinks were sorely needed in the hot weather.
Although light rain showers were forecast (you could hear the thunder from far away), the weather gods were kind to us. 🌭🍻🍷
After the opening speech, Martin Dale got the mood going. With wireless technology and a good dose of humour, he moved through the audience with through the audience with a lot of energy. It did not take long until the enthusiastically swaying their hips to the music, tapping their feet to the beat
on the floor or clapping their hands. 👏
Martin delivered an excellent troubadour show in which the audience also actively participated, be it by playing the last chord on his guitar or by having him sing along parts of the verses to check whether the audience was text-sure. During the song “The Wild Rover”, the lyrics “No Never” were followed not only by the obligatory clapping of hands, but also by loud whistling from the mouths of the audience. By then at the latest, the ice was broken for everyone. 🥳
Then the dance floor was opened for all those who had not yet had enough and could still keep on their feet. In the flashing disco lights, a small group danced eagerly to a well put together mix of Irish and Danish music until midnight. 💃🕺
We had a wonderful musical summer evening, not least because of our enthusiastic audience who turned up in such large numbers – thank you! ❤️
